Meet the Teacher

Residing in her cherished hometown of Weatherford, TX, Ms. Peyton lives with her supportive husband, Wade, and their 2 boys, Braxton and Townes. A dynamic blend of educator, artist, and entrepreneur, Ms. Peyton's entire life is beautifully intertwined with the world of art—a passion that has defined her since her early childhood.

With over 15 years dedicated to the study and practice of art, Mrs. Peyton embarked on her professional artistic journey during her college years. She honed her skills in Studio Art and All-Level Art Education at Tarleton State University, where she showcased her talents through abstract paintings and pieces that reflect contemporary views on women. Her exceptional talent was recognized with the prestigious 1st Place award at Tarleton’s President Circle Juried Show in 2014, and her works were also featured in exhibitions in 2012 and 2016.

Eager to further enrich her educational background, Mrs. Peyton pursued her BA in Studio Art at Coastal Carolina University, graduating in 2017. At Coastal, she was honored to serve as an Art Education Teacher’s Assistant at the esteemed Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum. In this role, she designed and delivered engaging lesson plans tailored to the museum's exhibitions, while also drawing inspiration from renowned artists like Alexandra Knox and Jim Arendt. Her senior art pieces at Coastal delved into the profound themes of memory, child neglect, and addiction, showcasing her depth as an artist.

Upon returning to Weatherford, Mrs. Peyton has embraced new roles and challenges with enthusiasm. She earned a second degree in Child Care Studies, launched her own creative venture, Tied&Tattered, and has passionately ventured into early childhood education.

Driven by her unwavering love for art, the unwavering support of her family, and the pure joy of witnessing artistic creation, Mrs. Peyton warmly invites you to join her on an exciting artistic journey through the variety of art classes!
